Clemente Ayala, M.A.
Price Scholarship Program Assistant
Clemente Ayala Bruno was born in 1985 in Guerrero Mexico. He migrated to San Diego in the year 2000 at the age of 15 having no clue of the English language. Within three years, he managed to graduate top ten for the class of 2003. He got accepted into the Scholarship for the 2003-2005 cohort. Right after he officially and successfully completed the program in 2005, he was given the opportunity to be part of the program once more, now as Maria Elena, the Director’s, right hand. School has been always a priority for me, I completed my transfer studies and received an Associate’s Degree in Computer Business Technology in the year 2007. Then I immediately transferred to San Diego State University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration completed in May 2010. Four years after, I started a new educational journey, a Master’s program from Point Loma Nazarene University. Coming from a very humble and modest family background and being the first in his family to attend a university in the United States, I believe anything is possible with hard work and perseverance. “Falling down is an accident, staying down is a choice”
